Financial Times names Qred one of the fastest growing companies in Europe - fourth year in a row

Once again Europe's leading business loan provider for small businesses, Qred, has been placed on the Financial Times' list of the 1,000 fastest growing companies in Europe. This makes it the fourth consecutive year for the fintech company, something no other Swedish-founded company has achieved previously.

Copenhagen, 2 March 2023 - When the Financial Times today published its list of Europe's 1,000 fastest growing companies, Qred, the leading small business finance company in the Nordics and Benelux, made the list for the fourth year running. Qred ranks number 1 in Sweden within the fintech industry and number 10 in Europe among all industries. The fintech company is also the first Swedish company ever to make the list four years in a row, showing tremendous growth.
"When we started Qred eight years ago, we set out to support a segment that didn't have enough banks. Our vision is to become the number one online small business finance provider in Europe, and with this growth rate we are well on our way. We are very proud to have made the Financial Times list for another year. And we have by no means slowed down over the past year; we have scaled our digital platform to Norway, continued our growth and expanded our product portfolio," says EMill Sunvisson, CEO of Qred.
Yesterday, Qred's 2022 annual report was published, showing continued strong growth and profitability. Over the past year, the company increased its operating income by 49% and the number of monthly active users exceeded 16,500, indicating an increase of 23%. In addition, Qred also continued to expand its team to 180 people. In February 2022, the online financing platform was launched on the Norwegian market, making Qred the first financing platform for SMEs with a presence across the Nordic region.
